just some news to pass on, cody bown's film 'monday' will begin production in july of this year. so that said, its official that 'monday' is in pre-production! check the blog for more info!

i just want to say thank you to everyone who has visited the website. the numbers show that there is a sort of interest, and nothing makes me happier to see that. there hasnt been one day since launch where we've had 0 visitors. so thank you! we've added some links to a few friends of ours', as i hope they will add us, but give their websites a look.

'near the end' has finished its principal photography and is now in post production! the footage looks great and i cannot wait until it is completed.

just announced: cody bown is going to be going into the early stages of pre-production for his short film titled 'monday'. a 9 page short film about a school shooting will be shot some time between june-august, we hope. as this is in the early stages we'll be keeping you updated via the blog section about this film as it develops!

welcome to FOREST LAWN FILM. today marks the official launch of the website. please be patient as the rest of the pages are built. this page will be the bulk of where you will find new forest lawn news, and updates. today we are proud to officially announce that we are underway in production on a short film titled 'near the end' which will be directed by forest lawn's own, byron fudge, making it our first film. in the coming days you will be able to read the production process under the 'production blog' section. a process that we will continue for every film. in the mean time keep visiting, because it will be up very shortly.

forest lawn has been years in the making, and im proud to say that it's finally here. at first it was an idea kicked around before my time spent at film school, but since then it has developed into a brotherhood in which we strive to put out great films. post film school, i accidentally came across our first logo, by drawing a black square on a marker board and brushing a chair up against it by accident. from there we have spawned what we see today in terms of our logo, and if that isnt enough of a metaphor for the future of forest lawn, i dont know what will be. i hope you are as eager as i am to see what comes from this.
