like a high pitched sound from a keyboard, there is a lot to love and hate about cody bown. growing up in an oil rich town of fort mcmurray, alberta, cody is a natural story teller. he became interested in film while watching movies by harmony korine, todd solondz and michel gondry. cody was accepted into vancouver film school in the spring of 2005 and graduated a year later in october of 2006. after graduation he worked as a logger on a tv show that wasn't paying the bills so he moved back to fort mcmurray. it is during this time where cody has written some of his best work. though topics may be obscure, cody discovers a likeable charm in his characters despite obvious shortcomings. 2010 marked cody's directorial debut with the short film 'OF HEART AND LIMBS' which he lists as "a memorable experience". cody now resides in vancouver, british columbia where he is working on future projects.
